Outside US: Unless otherwise indicated on the order form, Canadian orders add $20 first class postage per subscription or book order. Orders outside North America: add $30 per subscription or book for Global Priority Mail to Europe; add $40 for all others. (Canadian and foreign orders must be prepaid and additional postage charges are not refundable.)
Sales Tax: CRI collects sales tax on book purchases shipped to New York and New Jersey. Non-exempt New York and New Jersey customers please add applicable sales tax. Periodical subscriptions are not subject to sales tax.
Government agencies requiring registration in a fee-based vendor procurement system may have a compliance surcharge added to their order.
Subscriptions Begin: Current Issue. Back starts available. Common expiration dates for multiple subscriptions can be arranged.
Electronic Subscriptions: Subscriptions to CRI Print-and-Online Journals include a print subscription and electronic access to current and back issues dating to 2002. Personal Subscriptions are designed for the use of a single subscriber; anytime-anywhere access is by User ID and Password. Institutional Subscriptions provide access to an unlimited number of users at a single location; access is by IP Address authentication. Libraries and other institutions providing access to multiple users must have an institutional subscription. After submitting your order, you will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to register for online access.
Normal Delivery Method: USPS First and Second Class for periodicals. USPS Media Mail for books.

You may not photocopy or otherwise reproduce our report letters, journals, or book chapters unless you first obtain permission through the Copyright Clearance Center. Subscriptions: You may cancel a new subscription at any time within the first six months of service for a refund of the unexpired portion of the subscription price.
Books: You may return new book purchases within 21 days of the invoice date for a full refund or credit to your account. You are responsible for return postage. We recommend using “Media Mail” to return books. (Canadian and foreign book returns will be credited at the U.S. price: postal surcharges are not refundable.)
Standing Orders: In subject areas where new developments make updating important, books may be published as “Standing Order” series. Standing Order titles are indicated with the symbol . As a standing order buyer, your book may be updated through additional volumes or periodic supplements sent to you to review on approval. Standing Order shipments are always discounted 20% or more off single-copy purchase prices. You will be notified in advance of any update and may cancel supplementation at any time with no cost or obligation.
Textbook Examination Copies: We offer special examination terms for instructors considering a Civic Research Institute book as a required textbook. Download, print, and complete the Textbook Examination form and fax it to our order desk at 609-683-7291. We will ship your copy with a bill enclosed: you will have 60 days to examine the book for class adoption. If you decide to adopt the book as a required textbook and your bookstore orders 10 or more copies, the examination copy is yours to keep at no charge. Otherwise, you may keep the book and pay the invoice or return the book in good condition and we will cancel all charges.
Damaged Shipments: If your order arrives damaged, please call us immediately. We will replace damaged shipments at no cost within 21 days of invoice date.
Non-Returnable Items: Publications marked "NR" are nonreturnable. Due to their proprietary content and loose-leaf format, orders for items marked NR for nonreturnable must be prepaid by check or credit card, and all such orders are final.
