Abstract:
The Surgeon General’s Report on Children’s Mental Health (U.S. Public Health Service, 2000) estimates that one in ten grade-school students in the nation has significant mental health problems that need attention and that many children and youth suffer from mental illness severe enough to cause some level of impairment. Yet, only one in five of these children receives mental health treatment.Keywords:
