Abstract: 

This paper focuses on a corrections approach that recognizes the need for community involvement in offender rehabilitation and reintegration processes. While placing emphasis on the importance of transformative and restorative and balanced justice in all countries regardless of their economic status, it cites examples, best practices, and lessons learned that can provide a road map for the future.
