Abstract:
When does a foundation (or any other donor) have standing to take the grantee/donee to court over the terms of a grant of contribution? It seems like the rule is something like this: The donor doesn’t have standing, except when the donor does have standing, and the courts will sort it out. A recent California case compounds the confusion with a relatively new legal approach. The case in question is L.B. Research and Education Foundation v. The UCLA Foundation et al.Keywords:
