Abstract: 

This article seeks to illuminate the importance of meeting the unique needs of girls with EBDs and suggests action items (identify girls’ needs in school settings, amend the timing and type of screening for girls, and design interventions to address girls’ relationships) for practitioners working with girls diagnosed with EBDs.
