Abstract: 

One of the big problems that I and others face when prescribing psychotropic medications for children is that there are many holes in our evidence base. No doubt, we have seen enormous progress over the last decade. At least according to my off-the-cuff count, we now have controlled trials evidence that a host of medications can be effective for treating various child emotional and behavioral disorders.
