Abstract:
Children who have social or behavioral difficulties in school may have these problems for a variety of reasons. Family conflicts or other psychosocial stressors may leave many children with frustration, anger and demoralization or anxious feelings, as well as with difficulties in concentration or learning. Their social or emotional problems require understanding and support from teachers and family members, and they may occasionally require counseling to help them deal with their feelings and explore ways of coping. The media often suggest that large numbers of children are being prescribed medication for only minor problems. Keywords:
