Abstract: 

This article summarizes and discusses recent court cases of interest to readers of DVR, including: Fuzzard v. State, 13 P.3d 1163 (AK Ct. App. 2000); Laur v. State, 781 So.2d 452 (Fla. Ct. App. 2001); State v. Eatman, 774 A.2d 571 (N.J. Super. Ct. App. Div. 2001); State v. Johnson, 16 P.3d 680 (Wash. Ct. App. 2001); State v. Hulbert, 544 S.E.2d 919 (W.Va. 2001); Robinson v. U.S., 769 A.2d 747 (D.C. 2001); State v. Hellickson, 24 P.3d 59 (Idaho 2001); State v. Hart; State ex rel. Kuntz v. Thirteenth Jud. Dist. Ct., 995 P.2d 951 (Mont. 2000); People v. Johnson, 718 N.Y.S.2d 1 (N.Y. 2001).
