Abstract:
This article summarizes and discusses Amour, a 2012 French-language dramatic film written and directed by Austrian filmmaker Michael Haneke, starring Jean-Louis Trintignant, Emmanuelle Riva, and Isabelle Huppert. It won a Golden Globe and an Oscar for best foreign language film, among other awards. It deals with issues of elder abuse, aging, and familial responsibility.Keywords: Amour; French-language film
