Abstract: 

Combining forces in the face of shrinking resources to properly respond to reported cases of elder abuse, UC Irvine and the Institute on Aging have launched a mobile app, “368+ Elder and Dependent Adult Abuse Guide for CA Law Enforcement.”; the Center of Excellence on Elder Abuse and Neglect at UC Irvine has launched a grassroots elder justice movement called Ageless Alliance; In January 2013, the United States Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) released its updated standards for screening older or physically or mentally dysfunctional adults for abuse and neglect.
