Abstract: 

This article below draws from the recent Elder Abuse Training Institute of the Jewish Association Serving the Aging (JASA) elder abuse training workshop workshop to discuss topics including: defining and identifying elder mistreatment; culturally sensitive interviewing skills; comprehensive assessment documentation; depression and co-occuring conditions; and referrals for victims of elder mistreatment to appropriate community and social service agencies.
