Abstract: 

This article continues the exploration, begun in a previous issue of SLR, of the obstacles to preventing child sexual abuse when the abuser has contact with the child in legitimate contexts. Dr. Terry examines the difficulty of determining how pervasive child sexual abuse is within various religious institutions, and she outlines the challenges of addressing the abuse.
