Abstract:
Explores the influence of cognitive structures (i.e., patterns of thinking, attitudes and beliefs, and emotions) on human biology and behavior, presents evidence from Social Learning Theory and evolutionary biology on the impact of patterns of thinking on behavioral outcomes, and poses the question of how best to derail counterproductive patterns of automatic thinking.Keywords:
