Abstract: 

This article gives a perspective on the use of psychotropic medication on juvenile offenders at deep end facilities from professionals at the Arthur G. Dozier School and Jackson Juvenile Correctional Center in Florida. In their view, the best approach to psychotropic medication use in a juvenile correctional facility is a conservative one. Their justifications for this position are outlined in this piece.
