Abstract: 

This article outlines the benefits of data dashboards for the criminal justice system and the role of scholar-practitioner relationships in the development and use of dashboards and associated metrics. In addition, it reviews the issues that should be considered during the planning and execution of dashboards and describes the authors’ experiences with cross-agency dashboard development within a local jurisdiction.
