Abstract:

Have the political turmoil, the pandemic, extreme weather events, and the drumbeats of warring nations taken a negative hold on our capacity to deal with the seriousness of the need for a just society, a society that respects the dignity of every human being? In his final Editor’s Note as executive editor, Don Evans examines the journal’s continuing mission to encourage a multi-disciplinary group of writers to share diverse views about how we can live together with respect and contribute what we can to the welfare of strangers, refugees, and neighbors in the pursuit of a justice that leads to peace and goodwill for all of us.
