Abstract:
The Internal Revenue Service has updated certain rules concerning transfers to nonprofit organizations. The rules guide private foundations and sponsors of donor-advised funds (DAFs) as well as donors in making sure that contributions are eligible for the charitable income tax deduction.Keywords: IRS Publication 78; Supporting Organizations; IRC Section 509(a)(3);
