Abstract:
When a prospective grantee failed to meet the conditions of a matching grant from an Iowa foundation for construction of a community center, the grantee sued the trustees of the foundation. A failure to document precisely what actions are being taken and the reasons for such actions, or even an absence of clarity, can lead to litigation.Keywords:
