Abstract:
Representatives Danny Davis (D-Ill.), John Lewis (D-Ga.), and Patrick Tiberi (ROhio), all members of the House Ways and Means Committee, have introduced H.R. 4090, which would temporarily impose a flat tax of 1.32% on the net investment income of private foundations. Under the bill, for taxable years beginning in 2010 through 2014, this flat tax would replace the current two-tier system.Keywords:
