Abstract: 

Along with guidance on how and why to conduct site visits, we asked Mark Neithercut to provide us with some examples of site visits he’d conducted and how they contributed to a better understanding of what grant recipients were achieving and where they needed help. He told us about nine such visits, and what he learned from them.
