Abstract: 

Joan met her stalker at college while she was doing research; he worked there. After dating for one month, Joan found out that he was a science student who worked as a security officer. Joan was attracted to ‘Bill’ because of his quick intelligence, looks, and manners. Bill was quiet and this intrigued Joan, even when he stumbled over answers about his past. Joan suspected that the reticence was part of his personality, but, later, she saw this as a warning sign.
