Abstract:

Like his acting career, Bill Cosby’s grooming of underage and young adult women for sexual assaults spanned wildly different cultural eras as Cosby’s fame increased from the 1960s to the 2000s. Although the wide range of accusers described sexual offenses occurring at different places and at different points in Cosby’s career, all of the victims were young at the time—many of them minors—and all of the disclosures described a similar pattern of grooming and drugging prior to the sexual assaults.
