Abstract:
Men who are willing to severely harm their wives through the act of strangulation are more likely to be willing to kill police officers. That is, strangulation is a lethality marker; as Casey Gwinn frames it in this article, “The rage of a man who beats and strangles a woman is the same rage of a man that kills a police officer.”Keywords: Link Between Strangulation Assault and Intentional Homicide of Police Officers
