Abstract: 

One set of issues that has received fairly little attention on the political stage includes those issues pertaining to children with emotional and behavioral disorders. This lack of attention is at least partly due to the fact that children and adolescents do not vote. As a result, they need individuals who can vote to be their advocates in the world of politics and policy.
