Abstract: 

This column summarizes the background, findings, and implications of recent cases of concern to readers of this newsletter. Included are: McGraw v. Cox , 285 P.3d 276 (Alaska 2012) and Young v. Young, 96 So.3d 478 (Fla. Ct. App. 2012) It includes a piece on the California State Judicial Commission censuring of a judge for a breach of judicial ethics.
