Abstract: 

This column reviews several publications, including the symposium “The Violence Against Women Act of 1994: A Promise Waiting to Be Fulfilled”, as well as “The Validity and Use of Evidence Concerning Battering and Its Effects in Criminal Trials” (a report to Congress); “Working Together to End Domestic Violence”, by Peter G.
