Abstract: 

This research review summarizes the major findings and conclusions of “Elder Abuse: Global Situation, Risk Factors, and Prevention Strategies” by Karl Pillemer, David Burnes, Catherine Riffin, & Mark S. Lachs 58 The Gerontologist S194 (2016), a scoping review of the elder abuse literature that synthesized the 20 best international studies of the prevalence and risk factors for elder abuse and “Long-Term Care Ombudsman Advocacy: Resident-to-Resident Aggression” by The National Long-Term Care Ombudsman Resource Center, a technical assistance brief dealing with resident-to-resident aggression.
