Abstract: 

An abbreviated look at current issues and items of interest including New York City’s new disaster plan for accomodating the disabled, San Diego State University School of Social Work releases a free online Financial Exploitation Training program, The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) translates two of its resources into Spanish, the Administration for Community Living advocates for women who suffer late-life domestic violence and grants Keck School of USC a $2.2 million award to operate the National Center on Elder Abuse, the Minnesota Elder Justice Center opens ahead of schedule in 2014, and Alaska's new task force to examine elderly abuse and neglect.
