Abstract:

This piece reports on ways in which a research project in Australia called the South Australia Juvenile Justice (SAJJ) Research on Conferencing Project affected the practitioners responsible for convening and running family conferences in South Australia. The framework of this piece is unique, as it accounts for the voices of practitioners rather than just the voices of the researchers. The practitioners' engagement with the research changed the ways in which they thought of their work and shed light on avenues for improvement.
