Abstract: 

This article is concerned with what it would take to promote yoga as an activity within a prison. This account is based upon the perceptions of prison staff members who were specifically asked about this matter. This article takes into account the internal organizational limitations constraining the program and suggests ways to more effectively implement yoga programs in correctional settings.
