The aim is to challenge professionals to see that our choice of language often influences our choice of action. Given the remarkable accumulation of information regarding youth who have sexually abused, risk assessment, and the active ingredients of change, professionals have an obligation to familiarize themselves with the emerging research and remarkable opportunities to educate others. Keywords: juvenile sex offenders; language
