Abstract:
A review of the Report which discusses the harm solitary causes children in the framework of developmental psychology. The Report also emphasizes the alternatives available in lieu of isolation; the need for rich staffing and working with the juveniles not the meting out days of isolation.Keywords: penal isolation; deprivation of social interaction, services, programming and other tools needed for healthy growth, education, and development.
