Abstract: 

Hurricane Sandy and other extreme weather events have spurred interest in the risks associated with erratic weather patterns, and renewed attention to safety practices when driving at the time a severe storm hits. This article outlines a broad range of expert recommendations for safe motor vehicle operation including “10 Things to Know About Driving and Flood Safety.”
