Abstract: 

Driven Approaches to Crime and Traffic Safety (DDACTS) is being promoted as a tool to improve data applications, reduce needed resources, and simultaneously drive down crime and crashes. This article describes the DDACTS approach to combating crime and promoting traffic safety, its benefits to law enforcement agencies, needed resources, critical participants, and how to get an agency involved.
