Abstract:

Concerns over aggressive driving (AD) and road rage (RR) have increased over the past decade. Surveys conducted in New York State revealed that close to 80% of the respondents felt that road aggression is a serious problem in their neighborhood and thought of it as one of the greatest highway safety issues. This article discusses AD and RR, their differences, and a study of their relation to alcohol and drug use.
