Abstract: 

This article discusses a study on problem drinkers in the U.S., OxyContin, students arriving drunk to a dance, Lizzie Grubman’s sentencing, sweet-tasting malt beverages and the attempt to educate the public about them, and Michigan State University’s program targeting celebration drinking.
