Abstract:
Concerned over the alarming increase in drunk driving deaths in 2000, the National Commission Against Drunk Driving (NCADD) hosted a successful National Town Hall Meeting on Drunk Driving in America on November 29 and 30, 2001, in Washington, DC. Representatives of Congress, federal agencies, state and local governments, academia, the private sector, highway safety organizations, and other experts came together to examine the fundamental issues, and barriers to and solutions for the drunk driving problem in America.
