Abstract: 

This article discusses the importance of task forces on college campuses to assess binge drinking, the deadline for lowering the BAC limit to 0.08%, a study of alcohol related law enforcement, a study of alcohol’s effects on the brain of elderly people, a nationwide program aimed at deterring drunk driving among high school students, temporary liquor licenses being given to nonprofit organizations, the effect of gradual licensing systems, a New York county’s program meant to deter drunk driving resulting in loss of revenue, an amendment to authorize “I Love New York” license plates to be issued at an annual fee of five dollars, and a recovered car with mechanical problems.
