Abstract:
A study on alcohol use disorder (AUD) offers evidence that people who are at elevated risk for AUD have neurobiological responses to alcohol that might increase their susceptibility to problematic drinking, prompted by a desire to sustain further alcohol consumption.Keywords: lower sensitivity to the effects of alcohol; mesolimbic dopamine (DA)
