Abstract:
Thousands of drugged drivers go undetected because we cannot, by law, detect them in the same way we do alcohol. We have the ability to detect drivers impaired by an abuse drug, we have the technology, and now we wait for lawmakers to see how Sierra’s Law fixes what we have been missing for so long. Sierra’s Law was formed after the death of three-year-old Sierra Gore, killed in an illicit drug crash. Keywords: Sierra's Law; unrestrained child; detect drivers impaired by an abuse drug
