Reviews “Healthcare Decision-Making for Mentally Incapacitated Incarcerated Individuals” By M. Scott Smith, Laura Anne Taylor, and Andrew Wake, written to address the increasingly important issue of who should make healthcare decisions for incapacitated prisoners who cannot make their wishes known and “Health Outcomes for HIV-Infected Persons Released From the New York City Jail System With a Transitional Care-Coordination Plan” By Paul A. Teixeira, Alison O. Jordan, Nicolas Zaller, Dipal Shah, and Homer Venters, the authors of this article examine the 6-month outcomes for HIV-infected individuals who had a transitional care plan when they were released from New York City’s jails.
