Abstract:
In 2010, the King County Sexual Assault Resource Center (KCSARC) launched the CourtWatch program to provide feedback to the judiciary about their handling of criminal and civil sexual assault cases and, in turn, to improve the experience of victims. The program utilizes a cadre of community volunteers who are trained by CourtWatch and other agency staff. This article examines how CourtWatch works and how it has improved the processing of sexual assault cases. Keywords: Tracking, Analysis, and Processing Sexual Assault Cases
