Abstract:
When most people think of Title IX, they think of gender equality for women and protections for women against sexual harassment and sexual assault. The large majority of Title IX claims are brought by women. However, the statute is gender neutral and can be invoked by men. This article examines several important recent cases in which males have filed Title IX claims against universities, which most often occur as the result of sexual assault accusations. Keywords: Sahm v.
