Abstract: 

Community correctional advocates have a major challenge facing them now and in the coming years. With the increased interest in and implementation of reentry programs, it will be essential that community correctional agencies bring their words together with the necessary deeds. Results will be required to prove that what we have been saying for the last number of decades can be realized in the challenges and opportunities that are being presented to us with the steady release of offenders from our prisons and jails.
