Abstract:

In the early stages of operating a family foundation, a philanthropist might be tempted to handle all aspects of the foundation. This article outlines key considerations, do’s and don’ts, designed to help foundations make the right choices about hiring executive talent—and prepare to make changes if things don’t work out as hoped for.
