Abstract:
Although classified as a charity, an operation organized to host high school sporting events around the country was deemed in PLR 201343028 to be engaged largely in for profit activities and its exemption was revoked. The debt-management organization described in PLR 201345032 was denied tax-exempt status when the mission and scope of the organization underwent extensive revisions with each application.Keywords: PLR 201343028; PLR 201345032
