Abstract:
A research report by the Social Sector Office of consulting firm McKinsey & Co. discusses the recent surge in the use of philanthropic prizes and examines the questions presented by this growing interest in prizes. The two primary issues addressed are when philanthropists should resort to prizes as a means of creating societal benefit and how sponsors should develop and deliver effective prizes. Keywords:
