Abstract:
Previous clinical practice columns have addressed the process of investigating alleged victimization of individuals who are elderly or have disabilities. Topics discussed include the components of a forensically sound investigation and methods of interviewing suspected victims and perpetrators. This column addresses analyzing accumulated evidence to draw conclusions regarding the validity of the allegations investigated.Keywords: compromised investigation quality creates potential for harm
