Abstract: 

Beginning in 2004, the National Adult Protective Services Association (NAPSA), in partnership with the National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA), contracted with the REFT Institute, Inc., to help establish a training focus within the fields of elder abuse and adult protective services. In its first nine months, this focus included: an online training library, technical assistance, a training module, and workshops. This article breaks down and further discusses these components.
