Abstract: 

Under a grant from the U.S. Administration on Aging, the National Adult Protective Services Association (NAPSA), in partnership with the National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA), invited the REFT Institute, Inc., to assist in developing a foundation for APS training for a second year, from October 2004 through September 2005. This effort has been renewed for a third year. This report covers REFT tasks and accomplishments, including information regarding the NCEA/NAPSA National Training Library, professional evaluation of select library materials, technical assistance provided to library users, development of APS Core Competencies, and the National Training Library. Includes charts breaking down the nature of the training material.
